You are a lucky man! So do you wear your seatbelt now?

I was very lucky. I told a guy today, "I am a walking seatbelt commercial". I am always buckled up. There can be negatives in certain circumstances with seatbelts, but the good far out weighs the bad

From Anza Borrego a couple of weekends ago.

Pulled the trailer great! Lot's of fun until a broken motor mount!

A happy day on the trail. If you look closely at the bottom of the truck you will see that the happy day will soon go bad.

Very bad indeed.

Straighten it out in the receiver shackle, and sleeve it with the Hi-Lift handle.

I've been there before, straightened mine out with my own winch from the bumper above. Sure did suck. Glad you made it home safe.

Here's a shot of my birthday run.... the rest will be in the trip report tonight..

Yeah. There's a long story to my greenhorn adventure which included no tools, a 10 mile hike, hitchhiking, getting a ride from two guys fully dressed in camo who were going deer hunting, calling my friend with a Jeep, and going all the way back to fix the truck. The dusk till dawn run will be an experience I learned a few valuable lessons from but most importantly never forget.

BTW - Happy late B-Day!

Some articulation for the Cruiser lovers out there. This was at Voorhoede Mountain Trail this weekend, about 200km or so from Cape Town

Here's our family truckster at Coronado Beach a couple weeks ago ... the perfect vehicle for expeditions done primarily on paved roads. :D

Note the other grey cargo vehicle in the photo.

Great shot Chris ... love the composition and ultra wide angle perspective (distortion) from the 10mm. Great looking XJ as well.
