Some random happenings near my home.

The red one's a friend's, the white one was mine, and the other white one happened to be on a trail near my house.

I had high hopes for this truck, until this happened on 1/5/08.

By the looks of it, you got the best reward if you were okay. Wow. Ouch. Tell the story.

I was very lucky in this accident. I had planned to turn the truck into an expedition rig, and had already started with a 3" lift and tires. I was on my way to work on the interstate very early in the morning traveling between 70-80mph. I came over a small dip in the road and there was a stalled (or drunk) driver in the middle of the interstate. I swerved to miss him and my rear tire dropped off into the gravel, a few over corrections later and I was flipping down the interstate. I wasnt wearing my seatbelt and so somewhere in the midst of all of that I was ejected from the truck and landed in the median. Fortunatly I am an EMT and when my squad heard the call they new it was me. So I had some of the best Paramedics in the area attending to me.
After it all i ended up with 5 fractured vertebrae, pelvis fractured in 3 places, major blood loss from head wound, fractured ribs, fractured orbit, soft tissue damage left knee, road rash, cardiac contusions, and A fib, but luckily no surgery took place. Alot of people were praying for me and the Lord kept me from major harm. 3 months later I am walking and hiking, and planning an offroad trip to the smokey mountains next week in my new XJ.

You are a lucky man! So do you wear your seatbelt now?
