Who's the wise guy that built a HUGE Fireplace on top of Santa Rosa Mountain?!!
I had a great day trip yesterday heading up Santa Rosa Mtn. It's about an 11 mile trail to the top. This is the mtn. just south of San Jacinto Peak. 360* views to the Salton Sea, Anza Borrego State Park, the Palm Springs valley area, San Jacinto peak.....and views to the ocean on a clear day!
Not a hard trail at all. Just an easy way to get some great views and solitude. Great spots for camping in the trees, and so close to home. This would be a great area to introduce the kids to camping!
Now could somebody please pass me a towel for my sweatty palms!
Today was over a 100 mile round trip out to the desert. My A/T Temp light Never came on. Everything ran perfect! What the heck>?!!! Is it possible to be mad because nothing went wrong>?!!!!
Any ideas on how to overcome electrical failure when the alternator gets wet? Everything else was just fine, worked like a charm, but the alternator (I think thats what it was) got wet and the truck didn't have enough power to climb the river bank. View attachment 11050
