Yeap, from Rockford, just north of Grand Rapids. Spent my formulative years there. Grew up skiing (water and snow), snowmobiles, atv's, speedboats, jetski's, canoeing, sailing, camping, dune running, swimming, biking, farming, Mud bogging, truck pulls, fishing, even spent a few nights indoors one summer for a change of pace
. Michigan was a fantastical place to grow up, but I certainly like the weather here in SoCal. I can still wear shorts in balmy 30 degree weather, but every now and then I get inexplicably cold in temps as low as 50 degrees. I have definately lost my winterization .

Well lets work on getting it back then, Nate- here's couple I snapped this morning, about 9 miles from Rockford. 
O thank you for reminding how much I hate winter. I mean yeah its pretty when it falls....but damned messy and cold after. Thank you ....yes of course I moved to Oregon.....no sales tax....green all the time...no safety inspections.....no smog chek...fantastic fishing , hunting 4x4ing what a great place to live.....No snow.

Now I remember how I found this thread. Searched for Leavitt as in Leavitt Lake. Went through all the pages but didn't see any highlights or Leavitt.
