Very high winds and dust storm at Bullfrog, Utah on Lake Powell on Feb. 19, 2014. One gust at the Defiance Lodge I was staying at was recorded at 80mph. Here are some shots I took when the winds had died down to a mild roar after the peak gusts. I sincerely hope NOBODY was out on the Lake in a small boat right at that time. The water was very angry. Springtime in Utah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photo with tires looks like a car bellied up there looooong time ago, but then looking more carefully it is obvious that all 3 tires are different.

One I took at a very still dawn in the badlands of Utah at a stock dam lake. Later that day the winds and dust howled which is typical of springtime Utah.
