Not the best shot I've taken but it has a story to it! We were on the Soo Locks Boat Tour in Sault Ste. Marie, MI last Thursday. When we were locking through from the St. Mary's River to Lake Superior, a nasty storm brewed. It got even darker than in the photo. Enough as to where all the street lights came on. I managed to sneak a couple shots before all hell broke loose. Due to some emergency protocol, we had to wait almost an hour in the lock after the storm stopped before we could proceed. The tour boat captain said that had only happened once before to him in +20 years.
Three very cool pictures. The photographer from Seattle did a write up on how much work it takes to be in the right place at the right time. I imagine the Toronto picture had the same logistics. But picture three of the International Space Station passing across the sun.... You really must be in the right place at the right time and the event only lasts 6 seconds.
