Italy in a camper

We've been traveling in a rented camper through Italy for the past month. From the Dolomites to the Coast it's been pretty amazing. It's tough to upload in campgrounds but here is a shot of one of the villages in the Cirque Terre. You can see more from the trip on my Flickr page. Link is in signature.

'83 'New' Sure Shot. Put fresh batteries and a roll of Kodak ultramax 400 in it yesterday, and it works just fine. Lol.

This one is from '91, and I'm not quite sure if it works. I forgot how effing expensive CR123 batteries are.

Lucky, do the CR123s fit in side by side, or stacked to make one long battery?
If the latter, a lithium 18650 rechargeable will take the place of the CR123s.
I use the 18650s in my Fenix flashlights that came stock with two of the CR123s.
