Yep, they are crazy fast and you are sitting in a carbon fiber bucket with almost no padding. He wears a special rib protector vest under his suit. :Wow1:

This one was from the last time I went out with them. Everyone liked this reflection in the visor as he rolled back into the pits.

Nice shot, the reflection in this last photo is really cool!
That looks like a different kart. The first set of pics are in a shifter cart - they are definitely wicked fast. This one looks like a non-shifter cart - still very quick but not quite in the same league. My (limited) experience in karts is that the limit for how long I can drive them is when my ribcage gets too sore to continue - you can generate some very impressive G-forces under cornering.

Meet Big Al

yeah it is a pretty impressive thing to see. you should see that big 16000 come apart. you would think you were watching transformers.
