Rear locker questions USA

Howdy. So, I have searched and not found much helpful info on rear lockers for FUSOs in North America. I have a 92 FG 439 140. My LSD is not working properly and I would like to invest in a rear locker. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks

I know of at least three companies/individuals that offer a Torsen style differential upgrade for the front, but I am not aware of any that do anything for the rear differential.
As far as I know, no one makes an actual "locker" for the Fuso differentials.

Howdy back.

As the OEM LSD's work so well, I cannot see us or any other company that sells aftermarket bits for FUSO's bothering to invest and develop a rear locker.

How much do they want for a new one?

or try buying a secondhand LSD from a low mileage FG ..... That would be my best advice. PM me if you can't find one there and I'll ask around here for you.....but I guess shipping would be $200 to $300 bucks to you from Oz for a 15 kg part....just a guess.

More investigation into what I'm working with and see if I can fix it first.....any if the front lockers available in us? Prices on those?

I do not have any information on any US suppliers, in fact, I doubt there are any, as these things have to be custom made for the Fuso.
I would not have thought that the volume of FGs in the US would have justified this.

Two people you can contact regarding the Torsen style LSD (not technically a locker) are John (whatcharterboat) or Alan, as each sell them.
I am sure that either of those guys will be able to help you out with all of the technical specs and also give you a price.
