Replace syncros in an FG

Awesome Kerry, great news mate. Good to hear there's no regrets either, there's alot to be said for "throw em the keys and pick her up next week!!"

You're right, there is a lot to be said for that, reluctant as I am to admit it:)

Thanks for posting all your results, I cant find any other info on maintenance on these trucks other than what Whatcharterboat gave us in the fleet mechanic interview's and its all such valuable information, I for one have started to drive and shift gears a little differently(slower) now as a result and do encourage others to write up any thing at all that they find about these trucks, thanks again Kerry.

I have just read the article and am about do my syncros in a 94 canter 4x4, was going to do it myself but it would have sat in he driveway for a few weeks while I did it. I spoke with a few gearbox shops that had done Canters before and seems to be a common problem.No one could really give an answer to why.Have got a new clutch kit with through out and spigot bearing for $260.
