******... um once a vehicle manufacture or dealer sells the vehicle they have no rights to it anymore. you are not using the name "Jeep" or "Toyota" or "Land Rover" ect to sell your product or endorse it, you are simply using someones photograph to do so... -i dont recall God giving written authorized consent to use his trees and water in the photos either, but no one is fussing about that.... piss off calender people, who died made you king/czar!?

well ill go back and vote, will the voting deadline be extended?

whats calender cost?

this is freaking crazy, im sorry but i own the effing vehicle, the moment you sold it dealer/manufacture, you lost all rights to that vehicle... its not being used to sell or promote a competitor product. what is being used is the picture I took, with my camera... i dont see Canon saying i cant sell my pictures because they were taken with their camera... when was the last time Levis said you cant use a picture with their product in it because it violates copyright infringement -if this was the case the only pictures of people would be of naked people -does Nike sue NatGeo for publishing pictures of people around the world who are wearing their[Nike] shoes!?... and i have yet to see anyone stricken dead by God for taking pictures of trees or water... ****** who died and made them king!?

-to the mods and admin if my post is a little strong well im sorry, its just how i feel, please feel free to PM me and let me know i cant feel so strongly-or at least post my strong feelings in this manor

The problem lies in Cafepress selling the Calendar for a profit. Your image is not the issue. Cafepress using a branded image to make a profit is. You are looking at it from the wrong side.

I feel the same way.

BTW- so the votes again. There is another error. I will start it over and extend the deadline. Sorry guys, I rush it this year and its coming to bite me.

I guess I have not seen the finality of th minor errors that require new voting, but OK. Seems it would be better just to mention the errors at the link to the voting than require everyone to once again cast a vote.

whats the branded image? my picture? my personally owned vehicle that i bought the rights to when i purchased it ie the manufacture sold the rights to when they sold the vehicle. the vehicle is not what is being used to make the profit, its several several steps removed... its not like anyone is trying to make a new vehicle and sell it as their own, or copy a design ect. how come BFG or Nitto tire or GoodYear isnt up in arms, or ARB ect... again our photos are what is being sold for profit by cafepress, not the vehicles... and once a vehicle is sold by the dealer they lose all rights to that vehicle in any way shape or form.

So it looks like our calendar will move forward as planned. I sent them a very detailed description of all my images and how they were privately owned vehicles, some were Jeeps, but most were Toyota's and hand built buggies from UCORA. The owners had given permission, and they were basically saying family pictures with jeans on were in violation since everyone may be wearing Levi jeans... I tried to show them how ridiculous they were being and it appears to have worked.

Now we just keep fingers crossed that we avoid this hassle in the future.

outstanding! i highly doubt jeep or toyota or anyone would have any issues with this, i mean its basically free advertising for them. now i could see if it was full of brand new jeeps and the title of the calender was JEEPs for 2014 or something like that, then someone could potentially say you are tying to use the name or logo for your profit... but yeah. sweet ill go vote now!

and again great group of pics. and thank you to SilverBullet for taking the time to put this all together and work through all the kinks.
