'97 Dodge Ram, 4wd, club cab, Cummins. Loaded up, ready to go, full tank and me (250 lbs.) I was at 8640 lbs. with an almost exact 50/50 split between front and rear. GVW is 8800 lbs. so close but not over.

2000 Ford Excursion 6.8l v10 - 8300lbs fully loaded for a weekend trip. Full tank of fuel, one driver, no passengers. 37x13.5 tires, bumpers, winch, accessories, and everything inside.

For comparison:
2002 4Runner: 5000lbs. fully locked, armored, winched, bumpers, etc on 33" tires. loaded for a trip.

Defender 110 200tdi: 5200lbs. fully loaded, interior build out, roof top tent, locked, armored, 33s, two spare tires.

My F-250 CrewCab with a Cummins 4BT tools 65 gallons fuel 295/70-17 ST Maxx's 2 full sized spares me the Wife and dog is 7,900#'s.

The Alaskan camper trailer is ~3800#'s, truck and trailer gets 16MPG@60mph

My '88 V20 Burb weighs 6000 with a full week's of gear and food. Guess I am lucky!

85 f150 - 4x4, 300 CID, 4 speed standard, 8.8 rear dana 44 ttb front with stock sized coopers and 150# me...

4,200 lbs.

I was surprised when I saw that number at the scrap yard. Its been a while but thats the number I remember. Its lighter than the trooper I want, which makes me think twice about the zoo. Might as well get a bronco. Same weight w/ more power.

Makes me appreciate unibody xjs...

2000 Excursion with a 7.3 PSD,37x12.50's on steel wheels and full size spare inside. 7" lift all springs(dang they are heavy/12 leafs per corner)No bumpers/no armor. Loaded for weekend(3day) with myself and 2 other adults and 3 kids.

Update. I dropped some more scrap off at the junk yard today. With me in the truck, my recovery box and 3/4 tank of fuel in the front tank 6900lbs. I'm 160 so just the truck is only 6740lbs. Not bad for big heavy military take offs and my rear bumper of doom.
