You guys sure a tough crowed..... Thought you would like to see pics of this van twisted up...

I'm just wrapping my head around how ************ your mods are on that Chevy/Quigley IFS. Not to mention just about everything else on that van.

What do ya think.....

That van all twisted up is purely pornographic! Been out of the country for the last two weeks and its great to come back to updates on my favorite build!

Been researching ways to get some more travel out of my stock AWD express, and since your the resident long travel chevy van expert I have a few questions for you:
  • Noticed you ditched the sway bars. Is there any real noticeable increase in sway? Seems that ditching the sway bars is the fastest way to free up travel on IFS rigs
  • Looks the lift is 2-3 drop brackets and 2-3 of control arm angle?
  • What do you think of uni-balls mounted in a horizontal orentation on the upper control arm?
  • What did you use tint the lights? I really like the look!

Some sort of lost...
How high did you manage to twist it?

About as high as the curb at the local mall?

I'm kidding, mostly. Nice to see someone doing something different. But I want to see it in action. A short arm kit isn't going to make big travel numbers, BUT properly setup should be able to eat up rough roads at higher speeds. That's what I want to see. ;)

That was about 22" from the ground to the bottom of the front tire.

We ditched the sway bar to let the suspension work and compensate for it in the valving in the shock, The KING shock allows you to control the stiffness by simply making a few clicks with the adjuster. The lift does come from the drop brackets as part of the Quigley 4x4 suspension, In most of our ling travel kits we do run the uniball vertical vs horizontal like the kit we made for this van.
Just regular window tint on the headlights.
As for seeing this BA Chevrolet Quigley 4x4 in action is out of my hands.... This beast has been turned over to its owner to enjoy. Hopefully he will post pics up on here since he is a user. But it does suck up those mall parking lot curbs.... lol

I will likely be disconnecting my swaybar to get that front end working like it should. or just strait up ditch it all together like I have on the last few rigs that I have owned I just have never seen that much of a detrimental effect to the handling getting rid of them once its set up with the right shocks and springs.

Just regular window tint on the headlights.
Thanks for the intel! I have never liked the look of tinted lights until I saw them on this rig, they just look great!

Big tires make for little curbs right?!:sombrero:

This all looks great! I enjoyed the video as well. I just had to keep pausing it to get a better look (drool) at the suspension pieces.

I am the Dummy Who spent the money. :costumed-smiley-007 I don't have very many sweet pic yet but I promised Jeremy I would soon.
The curbs Don't stand a chance.
That being said I Have always driven a F350 Diesel solid axle for work/ Fun, I alway put up with the ride because I did not believe there was another way. And I am Ford Guy. I purchased this van because it was brand new and Didn't want to spend 100k on a Sportsmobile for a 6.0 with low miles. I probably would have saved money. I drove the van to Jeremy the day after it was shipped to me and it road Like a cargo van. When I picked it up just after sema I called Jeremy after being 5 miles down the freeway almost in tears. I was doing 80 and it felt like I was in An Escalade. This was just the beginning. I took it camping immediately with me and my son. We drove it thru the grapevine with no issue and when we got to the dirt road we just Glided. In my f350 10 15 mph was comfortable on this dirt road any faster and you felt like you were in a giant shake weight. I was cruising at 30 - 40 with no issue could even tell I was on the dirt. almost road better than the street.
This past weekend I took it out to the desert bar In parker Az That road is a 5 mph tops in my truck, I was chasing rzrs and Rhinos in the VAn 30 -40 no problem Like it was born to be in the dirt. People were looking at me like I was crazy following the rzrs and Jeeps up the trails. This thing is seriously awesome and I am so glad I found Jeremy. He really Built a 1 of a kind Van and I am proud to own it! I wouldn't believe him if he told me that it was going to perform as well as it has so far. I own the most bad *** Chevy Express on the Planet. "I love It when a plan comes together"
