Rocky Road Outfitters - How long did you wait for your shipment?

I just called Sierra Expedition and they said it is only lifted .5 inches...compared on what RRO said as 1.25 estimated...Sierra charged 70 dollars more which is no big deal...but I am hesitant to order right now because .5 inch lift is comical..

If you were to actually read up on the OME springs you will learn that Sierra was correct, the springs do only lift it less than an inch, but it will handle better and not sag when you add weight in the back.

question on where to buy sliders, there are quite a few guys on here who have had great results with the Trail Gear 67 inch slider kit

Buy THESE. They are made of a substance that fell to Earth from outer space (or something). They are the strongest sliders I've seen and while I've been able to scratch them, mine have no dents. They destroy rocks. Get the little triangle reinforcement things for where the tubes weld to the frame, too. Just make sure Toasty doesn't weld one side on a little further back where it'll rub on the rear tire when articulating (just funnin' ya bud).

Has anybody attempted to modify Trail Gear's 58" kit for use on a SWB? We just measured and with about an inch cut off either end, they just might work.

You will never get more lift in the front than cranking (or indexing) the torsion bars. It is a limit of the geometry of the suspension. You may get more load carrying capacity at a given torsion bar height setting and potentially a better ride.

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
I heard a rumor some cool dudes have some lift springs coming out really soon, tested and proven already. I also heard the springs are made here the USA, I think these dudes are in southwest somewhere. I don't know for sure because I'm not on face book.

Ive ordred from them multiple time, mostly for my friends. It was OME suspension stuff. No issues with shipping.

I was mainly speaking to what the details/time frame on them was

They're easy to find on Facebook or Google and very responsive to questions. Regarding the Gen3 they told me in a recent email that skids and sliders were on the way:

John,

Thanks for the support! it's appreciated. The Gen 3 parts are slowly working their way through R&D, I'm pleased to say that the Gen 3 skid designs should be finished at the end of this week and as for sliders, we're hoping to have those and gen 2's ready the first week of January. They will be available without limited runs, so you'll be able to purchase them whenever you're ready.
