sprinter will land at 300k ford at 330k since it has the conversion and 0 torsion subframe frame

looked at your website, and that e450 Tahoma looks like it could be just the ticket. To be clear: I cant afford a rig like this, but i am curious to see more, the clearance, articulating subframe and 4wd conversion definitely appeal. But seems very tall, well over 10 ft? Seems that undermines all the effort expended to make a truly capable OR rig. My flatbed camper is 10’6” at center and height clearance is definitely the biggest issue in getting to all the places I want to go. One of the benefits of chassis mount is the lower floor, so cant you design a lower roofline? Besides extra height clearance that would lower the COG as well.

Boy adding more water, bumper and wench who be pushing cargo capacity.
Agree. For a B-box or most any non commercial platform for that matter, the conversation always needs to be about weight when putting one of these together. Lay it out piece by piece and decide what you need and don’t need.

130 gal of fuel and water will weigh over 1000#. Pretty sure it’s not a legal end result on a sprinter platform and likely not on the f350 for that matter. The Baja Lx on an F350 is going to be right at the limit.

The artificial ‘need’ for huge amounts of clean water, a place to put the used water and the ‘mine is bigger than yours’ battery banks is what has driven most everyone to offer an f550 platform.

Everyone is different. When off the grid and never seeing a town, our two person balance of water to fresh food and beer is about 7-10 days. 40-50 gallons of water is more than adequate for us with room to soare

I find it Interesting that the business model for many company’s from Rossmonster, to Storyteller and Outside vans, Winnie and others, appears to be to produce a RVIA standard vehicle for sale at dealers AND to build customs. These RVIA’s can’t be over weight. Now the custom ones, heck, the owner can spec their way to dangerous any time they want.
Yeah totally fair. Just expressing a personal preference - not intending to diminish the HAVN at all.
I get it.

On our last trip to Mexico my wife had to climb on the roof of the 11’ 8” Fuso (only) twice to lift wires out of the way. 😂😂

Fwiw, neither my wife nor the locals were pleased.

In the spring I am going to buy a awd transit cutaway and build a pod with a hardsided poptop to test the market. Think Redtail van with full length poptop sleeping quarters 48" tall
