Looks nice as always. Dunno what I think of the seat covers. Personally I hate loose fitting ones that slide around. But as you say, they'll protect the seat well I'm sure.

First off I love the Truck. Very nice work.

One area of concern is the harness without a roll bar/ cage. Harness' are dangerous for street vehicles. With out a roll cage you can be crushed in a roll over with the harness forces you to stay upright where a 3 point allows you out move.

Just a heads up I see a lot of people put harness' in cars with no real reason and all ti accomplishes is a new danger.

Thanks! Yes, the 'crush can' issue was brought to my attention before. After spending some time on the trail, I realized the harnesses were going to be a problem. I was constantly getting in & out of the truck or wanting to lean out the window!

So, I've stopped using them altogether. I'll probably be taking them out soon...

Thanks! Ya, I'm with ya :). Honestly, I'm not sure either. Problem though, is I can't find any. Guess we'll see how well they hold up. I don't have any problems sliding around, but I assume that's due to the actual design of the seats.

Unbelievable! I found some of the pics I lost after removing the DB lift! :wings:

Day 1 (afternoon-early evening):
My friends and I managed to get the tires off and UCA's loosened. That was about it—aside from picking-up a lot more supplies I hadn't anticipated. Needed to buy a few larger impact sockets from the store the next morning.

Day 2:
FINALLY got it all off. Dropped everything in one piece—crossmembers, front diff, spindles, boots, drive shaft, the whole works! Didn't need to drain the diff or remove the boots as a result. Took ALL day to get this far. :coffee:

Ready to go! The new rear crossmember is held in place, pending the welder to do his work. ;)

It took the rest of the day and another 2 to get everything put back together w/the new coilovers, UCAs, rear shocks, and rear springs installed. :Wow1:

I found a few other photos too. This was when my friend Chris and I were installing the new grille and BudBuilt skid plate. The ARB had to be removed for this...

Initially, I thought I'd mount the 2m radio beneath the rear passenger seat compartment. I changed my mind once I realized the confined space could cause overheating issues. I used the supplied bracket and installed it here instead...

For added security, I still plan later to integrate locking nuts similar to the ones made by Lightforce. :REOutShootinghunter

Ryan, do you still have your old seats?

Also, your level of planning & documentation is incredible! Great meeting & wheeling with you, looking forward to more.

I'm rewiring my junk this weekend, hope it's close to as clean as yours. ;)
