I too would like to see some pics. I have been pondering this same issue for awhile now.....Would like to see the results.

Kinda funny but I was reading through this old thread and wondered if he realized that there are several companies that sell their tent fabric portion as a replacement part. Secondly there are several threads that discuss platform making. I know that is not the argument here but He really could have made something good if he had just asked the right questions and not started the fight.
