Sadly, our FGs are officially so "last year"

A fine looking dump truck, don't you agree? It's a concept Mitsubishi showed at Hannover called the Canter Eco-D.

AWD diesel electric. Unmentioned in the video is the fact that the front and rear axles can be raised about 3" when more clearance is needed off-road.

Little too electrontic for me... but I really like the front design and how streamlined and mean it looks. The back end just kills it though. Im looking for a work truck not a Caddilac. Its a concept though. I guess its just FUSO's way of showing how eco friendly and futuristic they can be.

You should see the interior. Looks like a Ferrari and the whole roof is some type of LCD that you can see through or dial in the tint as dark as you want. It's also a hybrid diesel /electric. I have some more pics of it here somewhere in all this mess.

Oh yeah . That's right . The doors are hinged at the rear to make it easier to egress in tight parking spots.

I don't know . I think a camper following the body line up from the tipper would be awesome.

You had me worried. I thought you were going to say that the FG model was being discontinued.

Looks like a good option for a commercial fleet, a little to techy for third-world travel for me.

Well, there's what to expect in the future. It'd look great with a Warrior on the back!!!!

I reckon.

Hey Engineer. We're doing a big twin cab MAN pop top at the moment . Mate you should go for a ride in one of those. Way to high tech for me but. Push button everything.

Yeah, those and unimogs have a bad case of.... ummm
too much technology and not enough truck.
Toppies on Fraser de-technoed the mogs to a great servicable level, the old MAN's we ran on fraser were the best things i've ever seen, now that they ride too smooth over the rough stuff, the Cape York lads tend to over drive them and break them. Wayne reckons that they're a bit weak, but drivers still need to respect what is happening under the bloody thing, even if they are comfy in thier lighthouse type cab.
I still love the old floor shift Canter with her little 3.3, indestructable.
