We ran Ozi Explorer on the Galaxy Tablet for detailed route navigation (with old Russian topos) in Siberia - It worked quite well.

My brother has a Ram mount, and a zoom (zoon?) in his 2005 chevy 2500hd and loves it for back country travel. As far as the RAM mounts go they are amazing, :wings: I can vouch for them we use them in the SAR, and fire trucks as well. Ill see if i can get some pics of my brothers and let you know what GPS software he uses.
I am planning to do the same thing but with a 32gig blackberry playbook, google earth and goops, unless I find a program that sound better.
