I recently was on the hunt for a gas storage solution for when I'm out and about away from civilization or wanted the extra range that a fuel can would give. Naturally i wanted to buy once cry once and didn't want anything that'd be susceptible to damage easily.
My search lead me to Scepter, a brand that makes fuel cans to standard for both the US and the Canadian Military forces.
These are the 20L(~5 gallons) Gas cans, these are the real deal, I managed to get a surplus of them for a decent price so I'm passing it forward to anyone who might need a tough, rugged gas can for whatever purpose(extended range,Extra storage ext)
Benefits of the can
-Flat-sided and rectangular shapeBurns in a fire, but will not explode
-Three integral handles; carry two cans in each handCap retainer straps are colour coded to type of fuel(you will receive
-Accepts pour spoutsFits standard pattern vehicle brackets for liquid storage containers
-Air-vent tube in neck keeps pouring smooth
-Air chamber at the top; the container will float
I will be asking for $75 shipped anywhere in the US. These are impossible to buy new unless you're getting them from ebay, where you'll pay 110$+ for just one. The CARB regulations in the US has made it difficult to get these cans, get one, you know you want them.
