Scepter MFC from Mexico

Has anyone purchased Scepter cans in Mexico and carried them across the border? Do you think they would stop you at the border for having these cans?

I'd be more concerned about going to Mexico vs. re-entry. Try eBay, it's a safer bet and no hassle.

There is an off road shop just across the Otay boarder crossing. Pretty safe area. Unfortunately they now want $90 each for the cans. There is a glut of surplus cans on eBay right now so that may be a better way to go.

i still cant believe that these things still cost this much lol. what is the price if you are the military? or able to buy direct? paying 70bucks for a used plastic gas can seems expensive. when you can buy new nato metal cans for cheaper

I agree... But they are far superior to any metal can. I have seen these things run over by a 1.5 ton truck and not leak a drop. And will never rust...
