I wish I could go and do the Canyonlands!

Yes, if there are any available. The reservation system http://www.nps.gov/cany/planyourvisit/backcountrypermits.htm is easy to use and your best bet, but they usually have people who cancel/don't show and so there are walk-in permits available.

Just realized I forgot to post pics from another part of my trip out there...these are from the Klondike Bluffs Trail..i totally recommend you take this trail if you have the time..it is AWESOME!!!

This is part of the drive to the trailhead...

Storm was rolling in on one side of us with the sun setting on the other...was very cool as we would later find out...

At the trail head...

Took the trail for a while and then got to some "preserved" sand dunes so we got out to take a look at the local game trail...

Oh, and by game I meant...

Along the way following the tracks I thought I'd test the flex limits of the KJ

Shortly after following the tracks it started sprinkling and raining a bit and we then noticed this...

If you look close enough I think there are 2 rainbows there...

I leave June 6th and will be back home on the 15th. That is at least my plan at this point in time. It might change depending on where I get employed after college this December but hopefully the new employer will be understanding...time will tell....that is the plan though.

I'll be doing the White Rim Trail FOR SURE THIS TIME in 2 days, June 11 and 12th. Sending the form in tomorrow actually. Would you like me to include you on the tally, there is a vehicle spot open????
