My 1989 Mazda B2600i. Keep it as stock as possible. Clears. 265/75/16s on stock suspension so no lift needed. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1453219735.114268.jpg

She is pretty stock except for the air cleaner. I got another 10 mph going over the passes when I changed it out.

LY5/4L60E swap w/ and A/C-Heat system from a 70s GM truck

item.JPG

Future plans are:

-Dana 60 FF rear axle

-8-lug front conversion

-NP242 transfer case

-Custom console w/Ham radio

-Reupholster interior w/Ford Thunderbird front seats

-Custom roof rack

-BJ's Crawler front and rear bumpers

-Olive drab repaint w/woodgrain removed

Since the swap, we've put nearly 30,000 miles on it, and the only trouble was a defective radiator. Looking forward to getting it more and more to my liking.

Man, there is something about that setup that is just "right." I think I'm just developing a weird thing pickups thats are the same age as me.

Thanks man, It works for me and my 10 year old son. It goes pretty much everywhere, just not very fast. It basically has a stove, sink with on board water and a great heater. The fridge didn't work when I bought it, so I put in a slider that I mounted my cooler to for easy access. Everything is wired to a house battery with a smart isolator. I changed all the inside lights to LED and with running the heater at night I can go about 4 days without having to charge the battery. I had the transmission rebuilt after I bought it and the motor is pretty strong. Gets about 10 mpg because of the all time 4wd, but it has 2 18 gallon tanks which helps. It is all pretty simple and easy to work on. I love driving it, something about that straight axle front end. I always think I need something newer, faster, has A/C, but then I will drive and go nah, I'll keep it!

1990 b2 painted with durabak bed liner inside and out. original 150kmi 2.9 and a slowly dying a4ld. 4.56 gears, 3" lift on 31s right now but needs 33s. I am gathering parts for a manual swap. She broke an exhaust valve at around 125kmi I think due to detonation. Fuel pump went out at around 140k from sitting for 5 years with old gas. Original radiator just sprung a leak a few weeks ago and has since been changed out. Other than that she has never let me down.

Here is my "old" rig at 24 and it teenie booper buddy. The HMMWV is a work in progress. I am slowly figuring it out and getting it like I want it. The jeep is just 16. It's my go to ride until I get all the kinks worked out of the HMMWV.

Haha I was wishing for a winch so I could cross the creek. It was about 5 inches of ice over a 6 inch air gap over another 6 inches of water. Way too risky on my own with no winch.
