Flex is overrated. Knowing how to choose good line will get you much further than anything else.

I do agree that flex is overrated.

Old rig was extremely flexable and went pretty much over anything you pointed it at.

Now days I am in a stock wrangler on bald tires with the swaybars still connected! I an 100% positive it would flex out on a curb. I still drive the same trails i use to, only now they are fun again.:smiley_drive: Going from stock to modified and back to stock rigs has made me realize that lockers, slinky suspensions, swaybar disconnects dont really help that much if you dont know how to drive...............there I go getting way off topic again:elkgrin:

nice shot!

yeah we just did a run with a guy with an old YJ with 2" lift and he rocked some 4+ trails, sometimes it wasn't pretty, but he made it cuz he has tons of seat time.

however, sometimes a little extra flex, or another inch of tire will enable you to tackle an obstacle without beating up the vehicle as much.

just build appropriate to the trails you want to do 90% of the time.

Rock in my yard. Great for checking suspension tweaks!

My XJ: It's weird to me to have coils front/leafs rear, different flex!

Cool pic's. But I did see some questionable pic on the early pages where people were not on the trail. Just a FWIW those types of pic are harvested and used against us in land use issues. If you look like a poster child for anti xyz group, you just might be?

Those driveway flex shots will never be used, so your good. :victory:

Ones like this show driving off trail.
