I have been back and forth for a while on whether I wanted to switch my hood out for one with the scoop or just leave it alone. Well I came across a deal I couldn't pass up so today I switch it out and I'm surprised how much I like it better with a scoop.

Happy wife, and the only spot on the trail clear of snow...lunch time.

On our way back out. Had a fun afternoon exploring and the 4Runner with Blizzak tires did amazingly well.

As much I like seeing modified trucks romping on rocks, I also appreciate people taking their stock vehicles on their overland adventures.

BTW, be careful snow wheeling alone. One slip up and you could be in a heap of trouble.

Thanks...I hear ya. That heap of trouble was a concern, believe me...but not overriding. I stayed cautious and used good judgement and turned around when it got sketchy. I appreciate your concern and advice.

I love my FJ, for two people it is a great overlanding platform. Just added and ARB fridge, now I have to replace my rear drawers and come up with something else.
