Here is a shot of mine. Camping with my wife on our anniversary near East Rosebud Lake, south of Roscoe MT. My wife thought I was crazy to spend over a grand on a tent, now she begs me to go camping every weekend. :victory:

Money well spent, I would have to say. Nice set up.

How did you attach the RTT to that shell? Is it reinforced somehow, or did you just try it out and hope for the best?

I did some research and found that if you order a topper from Leer with the roof rack option, the roof is reinforced. It came with Yakima crossbars and they have held up just fine. Me, my wife and daughter have slept in it 15-20 times and also been down some pretty rutted roads and all is well still.

Starting in on 92 4runner expedition rig

This is the start of my expidition rig , always been into 4 wheelin but have scaled back to near stock exploring because I just enjoy it wayyyy more .

As I got it and on its first trip on the WA backcountry discovery route



Storage was the first thing to address so made a sleeping platform/storage



Carpeted


Amazing how many tools you can shove in one little bag


All my camping gear , stoves , food , extra clothes , medical kit , coats , machete and axe fit out of sight

After the small lift ( make room for drivetrain lift and belly pan ) and 33x10.50 bfg at



Next on the list is bumpers and rock slides
