SO whats the project aspect of this vehicle kinda looks near complete. Or did you buy it like this and are swapping stuff out?

The 4runner came with:

Rockware bumpers, sliders
rear air locker , hooked up to CO2
OME suspension
a/p 265/75/ 16 in tires

I have swapped the suspension using

Toytec coilovers
LC rear springs
Bilstien shocks
SONORAN STEEL links and panhard.

Added the winch and lights
Baja Rack
255/85/16 Bighorns on 16x7 steel wheels
Budbuilt front and belly skids

Things that are in the works are:

1" body lift
4:88 gears
front air locker
mini compressor for lockers
the rest...

Sweet. How are you liking the 255's? I'm oh so curious to get a set but don't want to hate them.

Aaron

That is my favorite size tire, I run the same size on my 06 Tacoma as well and I am very happy with them. I have always been a fan of tall skinny tires, I ran 33x10.50s on my 96 Tacoma that I just sold.

That's a really impressive turbo 4Runner and a well detailed build thread. I bet it's a blast to drive. Looks great too, well done.

Here's my 2001 Tundra -

I'm currently equipping it to be more expedition friendly (ie. just added a set of Lightforce 170 lights and in the very near future looking to add an ARB fridge, Luna wiring kit for my dual batteries, and an additional storage rack in the bed above the spare tire). Our last trip was on the Peterson's Ultimate Adventure, we put 4,830 miles on it over 10 days. We have also driven it through 22 states over the past 3 years and on some of the country's toughest trails. We are heading out for Moab on April 17th for our next adventure. I designed the interior to be able to hold all of our camping gear, tools, & welder - the bed is currently for the spare tire, 2nd battery, spare parts, secondary cooler, fuel, jack, etc. This is also my daily driver.
