When I bought it there was already a fabtech 6 inch drop bracket on it...looking to figure something out to make it more wheeling ready without ripping the db out....I'm afraid I'm gonna have to completely redo the whole front end.

hey nick, is that the sand dust color or is your truck painted khaki or something? i loved that colour scheme, what is it?

The desert dust was almost identical but it's a stock light tan/grey....it doesn't "pop" until there are some black accents. It is on our site, most people think it's white on the site. http://www.shrockworks.com/Toyota-4Runner-Winch-Bumper-Front-Bumper-Bull-Bar-Offroad-pr-16217.html I drive by an 01 4R by the shop that is a stock metal flake Khaki..that color is SWEET. There's more pics here http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23813

Yeah, probably.

SAS maybe? How is SAS for trail running stuff though? I'm not a big fan of rock crawling but I love hauling MMM down some tiny trails. I've always thought of the SAS as more of a rock crawling mod and an IFS seems more appropriate for trail running.

Finally finishing-up my Tacoma. I've had the rollcage done for a while, and now I'm almost done fitting-up all the sheetmetal panels that will make a usable bed. I can still haul a couple of dirt bikes and gear, or my two dogs and mountain bikes and camping gear in what's left of the bed. Kept it 4WD and put a 5:1 Atlas in there, so I can some moderate run trails and haul azz.

Now I'm starting on the Deuce!

I just spent some time looking around your site, very cool build. Nice truck!

Time to join in the action.

Long time viewing this forum, threads, and inspiring builds. Here's my contribution. GW Natl Forest, VA, JAN 2009.

Something I call my "nice rack." Pioneer tools and OBA mounted on a 1.5 inch DOM rack attached to my bed tie down points.

I like that rack. Got anymore pics of it? Maybe closer or in better light? I think that may be something along the lines of what I want.

Thank you Tango Blue! I won't inquire why the roll of "tickets" is there in the one pic.

Before I start up another thread elsewhere, anybody know where I can get one of those swivels to make a swing-out spare carrier?

Think SleeOffroad sells em for DIY stuff.
