Here is my 2019 Tacoma SR. His name is Timmy (the Taco Truck) and he is really setup for touring, not overlanding or crawling. No mechanical mods from stock other than KO2s. I did my own rear seat delete and put in a fridge, and built a two drawer deck system in the bed for gear. He has been to Big Bend a couple of times, Great Smokey Mountains NP, stared down bison in South Dakota, and played in the rocks in Utah (among other adventures).

Re-redoing things the third time
Finally made it out to Big Bend, the truck did well on the trails but I have some trimming to do on the bedsides. Airing down is a must for quality of life though.

I haven't taken many updated pictures of our 4Runner but here she is as she sits and probably will be for a while
I added the TRD front and back trim a couple of years back, and painted it, along with the roof rail caps, with Plasti-dip which has held up great with any refreshing needed.
The Bilstein 5100s have held up well since installing in 2020 and still ride great. The Shrockwork sliders still look great. Although I wish they were angled up, my wife is appreciative of the flat surface to stand on. I'm a fan of the looks and performance of the BFG KO2s but either the insulation of the 4Runner isn't the best or the the tires are a little louder than I'd like. I'll probably consider trail terrains next.
I recently removed all of the "protective films" on the door edges, door handles, and mirrors and it looks many years newer. Those things do nothing but collect dirt along the edges and fade in color and dull in shine.

Is that the big ledge past Teapot on the way to the Dollhouse?Trickiest spot in the entire ~290 miles offroad. All 4 wheels had to climb two ledges at the same time. 4lo and locked, with MTS on full aggressive to get it done.
