Well, it's thursday, that shop figure it out yet lloyd.

I've been making progress getting my truck all set. I should have the whole front end put back together by the end of the weekend with a fully rebuilt front end. The annual ifs rebuild obviously. I did the boots on the cv's this go around and replaced the torsion bars since mine were fatigued badly All new joints and did a upper control arm rebuild with poly bushings.

Last 2 things
- replace drive belts
- oil change
- top off all fluids
- refill co2 tank
- fit in a new t-case shifter
- and install the dakota digital gps speedo which should be here next week

Then a shake down run

Then pack!!!

I'm jazzed!!!

Hopefully some of the new guys make it out to this trip. It would be cool to meet some guys who use there truck for what they built it for.

Ok I've only got a couple things to wrap up on John H's 2dr's(his son is driving the second) which will be done here in the next coming weeks john is outta town for another week, but none of the issues are show stoppers. :snorkel:

They got it back together but had a new starting problem....Will check in again tomorrow. Still need skid plates. 5 years of engine working sure is tiring.

Ok, checked today. Its up and running, but after tearing it apart so many times the owner is going to drive it around all weekend and let me have it back Monday. Also wants to run it over to Northern AZ to be blessed by the witch doctor. Going to call on some skid plates now. The shop owner used my strap as well to pull someone out and hooked it up wrong and broke it, so he owes me a new one....

Ok, I am going to leave Saturday and Drive to Vegas so I can Still be at Wrights Lake Sunday Evening. Lets get a count on how many are meeting Sunday night for Barrett. Since I dont know the area I think we should jsut reserve a pay campsite for the night, and we should reserve sites asap.

Ok us AZ guys are leaving Monday morning. IF we leave at a decent hour monday morning, which means no hang ups. We will push as far as John H wants to go. I'm good for what ever but the drive from az in one day is pretty exhausting. So we will finish whatever is left of the drive tuesday. I'm hopeful to be at Wentworth springs camp late afternoon tuesday. Everybody else should plan to try and do the same so nobody is searching for the right camp in the dark.

So what's the count on people attending the trip so we can start figuring out who is meeting with lloyd on sunday night at barret area. Or meeting with the rest of the group tuesday at wentworth?

Any word from Carlos or ray?

If for some reason my few early people bag it on me, I will have to skip Barrett as it is way too hard alone, and just do some easy stuff and relax a bit while heading to Wentworth Tuesday afternoon. Some century I will get that trail done!

Still overheats :( The shop owner(and really great mechanic) is totally focusing on it today....Just cant believe it. No overheating before valve seals, UN-sermountable slow speed over heat after. Ran great all over town, tires barely touched the dirt and overheating right away.

Bad info sorry. So I stopped by and he wants to drive it again. It actually did not overheat, it got to half off-road in sand dunes. Still with a 3 row midway seems high unless he was really hammering it. May or may not be ok, but before it went to like 80-90% with out even getting on a sand dune. He wants to run it up to the dunes again and monitor temps this afternoon. I told him to whip it good in high gear. Should not overheat even in the most severe circumstances on the sand dune. Keeping fingers crossed. Oh, was standing there and a radiator exploded on a Cherokee that was parked :Wow1: Got to love plastic tanks.
