Running from Monday..
Hey guys,

Here's my truck. I bought it brand new when I was 18 (poor life decision) but it's long paid off and always treated me well. I've worked it hard and played even harder. It'll tow or haul basically anything within reason and after a few modifications will really go anywhere it will fit.

It's easy to work on with the perfect combination of old-school mechanicals and well put together computerized electronics. I've done basically all repairs and modifications myself. The re-gear is the only thing I paid someone else to do..

My wife and I recently picked up a FWC Grandby for it in anticipation of a years long roadtrip down the PanAm (another truck related poor life decision).

Here are the details so far-

2005 Silverado 2500HD 4x4
6.0L Gas
4l80E (if it has to be auto, might as well be this one)
4.88 Gears
Detroit Locker (rear)
Re-indexed torsion keys and rear add-a-leaf
35x12.5x17 Toyo AT II's
Dual Batteries
Warn 9000HS on a custom built removable carrier (Snatch blocks-yes)
Front Anderson connector for the winch and jumpers
Custom built front hybrid tube bumper
Yaesu 7900
Kenwood Excelon something or other
Ram mount for 7” tablet (currently using Nexus 7 2nd gen w/backcountry navigator)

Future Plans-
Maybe a size smaller tire for the pan am
Custom built bed for more storage, less damage potential
On board air
Rear Andeson connector

Sorry I don't have more action shots, I'm usually driving and also the only one interested in taking pictures of my own truck..

Walker,

sears, really? Ill check it out thanks, i keep going through air hoses like you wouldn't believe. I am going to have to pick some of those up they should do the trick.

This is my rig- Shes got 180k on her now and going strong. I bought her with 20k on it in 08, still had the new smell. This winter I am building a bumper for the front but nothing to bulky, and its looking like a flatbed as well as im thinking some LED driving lights and a long range LED bar.
