Another option is to use an SPOD. It has a cutoff and really helps with cleaning up your wiring. I run my compressor, winch, and lights through one.

Finally got my pelfreybilt battery tray and got it all painted up. Going to install it next week once I get my group 31 diehard.

Got to love having a paint booth

Here's another way to keep that Group 31 fully charged and ready to go...I can sit indefinitely.

I Have a Sears Platinum group 31 in my FJ and run my ARB fridge 24/7 at 32°.

No issues with battery drain even in the AZ summers.

I have a 180ah secondary battery (its a biggie)

Keep my car battery separate.

Large aux battery runs fridge, lights etc with no issues. This battery is hooked unto 2x 100w solar panels. I can create enough power to sustain wild camping with fridge running etc indefinitely. My only limiting factor is running out of beers!

Hope that helps

thanks man. But the whole point for me is to not need a second battery. I don't need a second one for what I will be using it for. I have no plans to get a fridge at any point. I know I wouldn't use it enough

Ya I plan on adding some small solar panel to my set up just in case prob won't be anything bigger than a 40watt panel tho

I know it's been a while but I finally got my battery. Thanks again to pelfreybilt and Benbacher for helping me with shipping.
