Do you need a separate Amazon.co.jp membership or do you go through your US prime account?

Guessing no one has tried. My delivery arrives on Tuesday. Pretty quick considering it is shipping from Japan to Connecticut (7 day turnaround). In case you can't find a SP Gear, might try them! I was able to get the 1/2 SS Box Hanger, Gloves (w/ fingers, not mitts), and BBQ Pitts Tongs. I also found the very hard to find windscreen but someone is bringing it over in August.

International shipping is made easy with the Amazon Global program. Shipping to outside of Japan is exempt from Japanese consumption tax.

It's separate account unfortunately. I am not sure if it is still required but you may need to put your name in Japanese. If you do, I can try to jot down instructions on how to convert your name since it was required of me to put in double byte characters.

As for Amazon Prime membership (2 day delivery), ordering from Japan is moot. They are extremely fast there. Plus, when shipping overseas, it was automatically Prime shipment.

Yes, I have some people I made friends with while living there. Many of them either fly for business or visit family & friends during the summer. Pretty much anything not sold by Amazon itself will not ship overseas.

Looks like the last vendor only has 3 left.

Also, i just found out a friend of mine has an Amazon Japan Prime account so I'll be seeing if the exchange rate is favorable and getting in trouble with my wife

Those gloves are good. I use mine for welding as well as BBQ, which I think is their original purpose.

It's stainless steel, black oxidation coloring.
