Awesome tent awesome kitchen setup :)
Looks like a great setup
We almost went with that tent but was a touch to tight the way we wanted the inside with our 2 kids and dog :)
Love those tents though and Snow Peak stuff of course :)

Thanks. The tent is a beast. Coming in at 80 pounds complete, it definitely isn't winning the biggest loser. But it is pitch black at night and when the wind blew, it didn't move one bit.

yeah coming from our African tent trailer setup we were used to REAL canvas !!!! and really wanted one the weight and size is what did not fit with our pack plan
we also wanted the whole other room for longer trips but again pack size weight :)
maybe when we get a new rig and it will fit then we can get one

This one fits in an XL TNF Base Camp Bag and it goes on the roof rack. I keep all of our sleeping bags and mattresses in another bag of the same size.

New things to play with.

So, I got a delivery the other day.....can't wait to use it this weekend.

The new Lapel Torch. It's really bright, actually brighter than my Snow Minor Headlamp.

The New Pan Cooker Set. Brilliant design. Fry Pan, Pot with Lid and Rice Cooker with Lid. All Teflon coated with a Handle that attaches to them all.

Interesting to hear how bright the lamp is ? I have a few headlamps and the SP is the main one I use now

Had not seen the pan cooker before ? :) looks cool
Went to find it
Did not see it on the US site only on the Japan one ?

How is the quality feel ? Happy with it ?

Honu,

The Lapel light is Super Bright. I used it all day yesterday, cloudy day outside while I put together my new roof rack, and it performed like a champ. The PanCooker is heavy duty. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but the quality is well, Snow Peak. I'll post a few more pics of the set a little later. Are you going to Expo this year?

I want a good rice cooker :) being a island boy I love my white sticky rice saw a really cool propane rice cooker that is kinda like a tiger cooker ?
almost thought get a small tiger for camping and see how it does on solar or battery setup ? :)

I take it that pancooker setup was like $350 ? or so by the exchange rate ?

very cool idea wanted to do one like that but a bit wider to hold the top of the charcoal cooker :) like you I end up sticking it on the table etc.. but thought this would be a super cool idea

Snow Peak does make the bamboo shelf. It's just never in stock. It's in the table section.

You could easily make the insert for the tool hanger. You would just need to find a fabricator with a bending machine. I might know of one to use, but I don't know how high the minimum would be to make it cost effective.

You should see the bag I made for my IGT tables. I shoot a few pics later and post it up.

Yeah I have one of the bamboo lower shelf things got a great deal on it
The black mesh model one

The links gave me some ideas though
In the one tent pic on the other thread I did setup a cool sliding shelf/basket setup that fits under the igt

on those links besides the insert was that lower extended piece that holds the IGT inserts if you notice that part and was thinking a thicker one to hold the BBQ lid would be handy hate that when I am cooking and pull it off for a bit and no where to put it ? one of those little things :) hahahaha
