(SOLD) 2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU with Ursa Minor Camper

01.jpg

70,xxx miles

$42,000

I am the original owner with the title in hand. I am located on the central coast of California. I bought this Jeep in 2014 knowing I was going to modify it to make it my own. The goal of the build was to have the vehicle retain a “stockish” look while being totally ************, simple, and very capable. The lockers can be engaged whenever you want… high, low, 2WD, 4WD… front and rear independently. The front sway bar is a rubicon sway bar with a manual disconnect (stock electronic ones are prone to failure).

The Ursa Minor Pop Top is awesome. You can stand up in the back of the Jeep if you are not too tall. Best thing, the Jeep fits in my standard 7 foot garage with the Ursa Minor and on 37 inch tires!

I rigged up a pressurised water system using the AEV water tanks. Perfect for washing off or dish duty.

This Jeep has not been my daily driver, and lives in the garage when not in use. I’m not much of a rock crawler… I’m more of a get lost in the desert kinda guy, so the Jeep has not been bashed around. At the same time, I feel this Jeep can go just about anywhere you want. It tracks nicely on the freeway, and the power is not bad with the 4.88 gears. I have the AEV Procal, so the speedometer reads correct along with the mileage. I just put tires on… 37 BFG KM3 Mud Terrains.

I have meticulously maintained this vehicle… oil changes with Mobil 1 every 5,000, oil filters, air filters, coolant system, spark plugs, breaks, tire rotations, etc. This Jeep has been my hobby and my therapy. It is in damn near perfect condition except for some scratches on the rims. My friends say I am down right anal about this vehicle.

I have only had two mechanical issues. One - oil temp sensor went out… dealer fixed, and I had the spark plugs changed while they were in there at around 65,000 miles. Two - the radiator started to leak… I replaced it with a brand new mopar radiator. The transmission was serviced with a flush at around 60,000 miles. Other than that, this Jeep has been flawless.

I am a bit heartbroken to let it go, but I need to move on to a bigger build. Please reference the list below. I am pretty firm on the price, but if you have some of the overland goodies already and don't need them… I could remove them and adjust the price of the vehicle a little (ex. ARB Compressor, HAM radio, charge controller, etc). Please feel free to call me. I would much rather have a conversation than write a ton of messages back and forth. NOTE: The Dometic Fridge IS NOT included… I need it for my next build. The fridge slideout is included.

Thanks for looking. Please call/text with any questions. I prefer to speak with someone rather than exchange long messages back and forth. The vehicle is located on the Central Coast of California where I live.

Will you sell the Ursa if I provide a hardtop to replace + cash ? I already have a Jeep and it’s built out. Just missing the Ursa. Thanks.

Sorry. I’d prefer to sell everything as a package for now.
