Haha yep no problem! I bought the 30x17x17.8

I drilled holes in the bottom and tapped the wood from underneath to put countersunk screws into the food. Then used captive nuts inside the box. I put some rubber grommets between the safe and carpeted wood to take road bouncing load.

And just let me know when you're ready to come look at the rig ;)
Do you have the amazon link as this took me to superoffers.com?

Oh no! I just noticed you're in SLC UT. I go through southern UT (Grand staircase, Paria etc.) all the time and if I'm taking the quickest route back it's through Salt Lake
🤔😓

Haha well it's all clean and ready to test drive anytime! Ready to camp literally same day.
(Ok, the water tank is empty for winter but that's a quick fill haha ;) )

great looking rig!! do you know the gross weight (loaded)? Thanks!!
I have not weighed it, I believe it's very close to GVWR, but here's the best info I have:

Curb weight from factory: 5,380 lbs
GVWR: 7,265 lbs
Hawk Camper: 1,400 lbs
(Removed the original truck bed, but add the flatbed)
CBI site says this Baja bumper is only 155 lbs

This Gen 3 Tundra has the new frame design and higher towing capacity. I'd never put this camper on a Tacoma but I was comfortable with the Tundra and the Twin Turbo. I love that the overall footprint of the rig is still at or smaller than the original Tundra size! (only the height has increased, of course).

The truck is getting a fresh oil change next week and the backup camera installed at my Toyota Dealer.

Quick question, apologies if I missed it, there's a ton of great stuff in this build. But what are the mods you added after buying it? Curious what was most recently upgraded.
Thanks
Travis
