Price differences

I’ve talked to the very nice, older retired couple selling this van. Due to their age, they’ve simply not been able to get the use out of this sweet rig that they’d planned on when they bought it.

This van was originally listed by them two years ago for $37,000.

They made an error originally in listing the van this time at the too low price of $20,000.....that was way undervalued and they were advised that someone would probably just buy it and the turn around and flip the van at that price. It made much more sense for them to make that money than for a flipper to do it.

So they rightfully decided to amend the ad and so raised the price....(and it’s still a very good bargain to me, based on the comps I’ve looked at)....anyway, the $25 vs. $26 was just confusion from posting and reposting it.

I strongly disagree....and don't think someone who mispriced a vehicle and then corrected that mistake is being “greedy”.:bigbossHL:

That comp Shows the pop top price is a pretty reasonable one.

And FWIW, knowledgeable van owners commenting on the Sportsmobile Forum seem to agree that the higher price is still a bargain price for this CCV Pop Top combo.:bigok:

OK, I'm gonna have to school you guys on this:

Fifth digit on VIN is “8”.
Fifth and Sixth spaces on VIN are Chassis/Series (drive type).
This Van's VIN at the 5 and 6 is “8A” meaning, per GMC VIN Chart, that this is “4x4 GMC Savana 1500 Cargo” van.
Got It?

If that were for sale here at $34,000 CDN ($26,000 USD) it would sell in an instant. That is an excellent price for a low mileage 2013 AWD poptop!

EXCELLENT JOB! You prevented a greedy flipper from making a quick profit and taking advantage of an elderly couple. I would buy you a beer if I was nearby. Well done sir.

OK, got it. H is AWD for Chevy and 8 is AWD for GMC.
