I agree with trevor and others here. I'll be checking my renewal later this year. The spot is mainly used for the tracking mode so my family and friends know where I am. It has been worth the price of admission just for my wife to see I'm still alive.

My scenario exactly. I do end up traveling a lot of remote areas well out of cellular coverage. Figure this could be a lifesaver. I still need to purchase a cell booster like those covered in trailer life,etc. Sounds like those really help with weak or non-existent signals.
