For anyone who has never been, I'd highly recommend Salsa Ride Camp in Seeley, WI. Especially the overnighter. Great weekend of riding.
Say what??? That's a big hoop to cram into 449mm. I think that's pretty impressive. Running 29+ is not unlike any other wheel package and will have some compromises, but I'd say that's about as short as those stays could get.Very long chainstays.

I get it. But, in reality is a distance equal to the size of a squirrel's pecker going to ruin my ride? No. For what it's worth, I've obviously not ridden a Deadwood SUS, but I've learned over the years that the battle of millimeters is often waged right between your ears more than on the trail.
