Jim, welcome and thanks. If you're ever in North Carolina you can ride my bike, and my wife won't tell.

This thread is a wonderful example of the internet at it's best, rather than it's worst. The ExPo folks could probably to track down Bin Laden if only we could get him to subscribe to the Overland Journal.

I'm in the Orlando, Daytona Beach area, If 1speed can bring it to central FL, I can take it to the FL/GA border, then we can shuttle it back home from there. I'm sure we got enough people to make it all the back home!

Let me know if I can help, what ever you need.

Martyn, you have a PM. I am able to tow it back to CA if you can wait until the end of June.

I doubt too many people have a Lock-N-Roll reciever hitch laying around. If Martyn wants to send a vehicle side piece for the hitch that can be passed along across country I can get the trailer to Orlando within the next week or so.

Let's turn this into something useful. If you've ever read Mark Twain's "Roughing It" you'll be familiar with the 50-pound sack of flour that was auctioned here in Nevada with the proceeds going to charity. The flour sack was auctioned again and again, traveling through Carson City and San Francisco. According to Twain, "It was estimated that when the flour sack's mission was ended it had been sold for a grand total of a hundred and fifty thousand dollars..."

So, unless Martyn needs his trailer back right away, I propose a relay around the country. Each of us gets to tow it to the next member of the relay team. For each mile we tow it, we donate some money. Proceeds go to a charity of Martyn's choice. He also gets a great public relations opportunity. And the off-highway vehicle community gets one, too.

I'm in for a buck a mile. Who's next?
