Storage boxes for rear seat area of crew cabs

From the thread title you can see I have trouble trying to word this for searches.
Everytime I search for this I get tuffy underseat storage boxes.

Let me try to explain what I am trying to look for.

I am looking for some kind of storage system for the rear seat area with the seat down that fill the footwells of the rear seat area. Much like goose gear or similar products that make it look as if it is stock. I really don't want to apply my non existent carpentry skills for this job. Worse case scenario I will use the left over amazon boxes and tape myself something together then burn the crap out of it at a firepit when I go camping.

My best idea for this is to get some correct sized pelican, alubox, zarges that fit behind the front seats and a little flywood platform for it for my dogs.

Are you planning to remove the rear seat, fold it up or leave it in place? It might give you more options for the sizes of the boxes you want to use.

As for building something you might see if a local vocational school has a shop class to throw something together for you pretty inexpensively. And one good thing with a "sample" version like this its not a ton of $ and you can try different options/sizes/layouts without having dropped too much $.

check out various types of “knock down” bed frame brackets. You may get by without too much carpentry skills if the brackets can help your configuration

Thanks for the great tips. As far as making it look professional seeing as how there isn't a goose gear type system I think I will probably be moving towards the boxes and platforms. I will keep the seat down (i have a tuffy underseat lock box). I appreciate the replies. I got found a lot of cases that will fit pretty snuggly there. Also found foamorder.com I will be getting a tri fold cushion with cover so the end flaps go up the side of the doors and cover the seat/boxtop.

Certainly not very overlandy, but I’ve been using Milwaukee Packout cases in several vehicles. They don’t work in a doublecab with the seat down, but they do work in a crew cab. I’d usually keep them on the floorboards unless I had passengers. Then I’d toss them in the bed since they are also water resistant with an o ring seal.

I don’t know which truck you’ve got. F150’s have a flat floor which is great for storage. But it does slope. Instead of boxes, I’ve been using various size duffel bags. It molds itself to the nooks and crannies better.
