Hey guys, up skiing and camping at sugarbush. I have a 1995 e350 ambulance with a 7.3.

My problem is I have zero power to anything. I must have blown a big fuse but can't find it! Where should I look?

Thanks

Dumb question maybe, but did you check the inverter for popped circuit breakers?
I dont recall there being any one big fuse that would kill all power in my rig, but its a 92 so maybe different.

Not dumb at all. Yeah they seem good. I'm wondering if I toasted a fusable link somewhere but can't find it anywhere.

Sounds like the switch failed then.

If you unhook the input cable to the switch and jump it to the output (house/truck functions) does the problem stop?

Also consider how batteries are isolated. The battery isolator could have fried.

My inverter had a 110 amp fuse between it and the house batteries. It had large solenoids to isolate it when the engine wasn't running. If the solenoid is cooked or the power to it gone, you could be dead in the water.

Do you have power at the batteries? My E350 also has a large fuse at the relay/fuse box under the hood.

You can quickly bypass solenoids, switches, and jumbo fuses with jumper cables.

Don't rule out a ground issue. Trace both + & - power routes. Start where ou have power and follow it till you find the break in the circuit.

I jumped the switch and had nothing. I am led to believe its a fuse of sorts as I lost it while using the inverter. There is without a doubt a connect there.

I don't know enough about this set up to see how the batteries are wired. I believe I have an isolator between the two starting batteries.

Its on a flat bed headed home so I will get it figured out.
