Really, 1" over stock? The body line is still waay lower than the hub. . . I guess an artifact of where the WRX (per its design) starts. Those do look like some pretty low profile tires, but I'd expect to see more wheel gap if those ore stock tires with a 1" suspension lift. You're probably right that it will improve the look with bigger tires.
