Sick Subaru, just got into the brand a couple weeks ago. Planning some Rally Armor flaps, but can't decide between the "basic" and "classic" ones. Any insight?
Looking into a lightbar, aux lights, and a useable roofrack. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Just got 29mpg on last tank!
How tough are these things? (resistant to abuse, and the occasional dirt/sand or whatever)

As far as the Suby I would go with the Rally Armor Urithane Rally flaps. Subarus are tough as hell, Mud, snow, good in Eveything for the most part, if you have a goo driver ;) All Tough except for the oil pan and Fliter, they sit very low, and are the first point of impact if you straddle a good size rock or stump. My advice is your FIRST mod should be a good skid plate, I Love My SUBTLE solutions one, only about $250 and it has saves my butt many times. Best investment since I bought the car.

I've been lurking for a bit, and figured it was time to jump in with a little contribution to this thread... I doubt my little WRX will be near as awesome as some of the rides I've seen browsing this thread... But hey it's mine, and I take it out and beat on it all the time.

Here is my '02 WRX Wagon chilling in an abandoned train tunnel.

The main upgrades I want to do is install some skid plates, mud flaps, exhaust, and do a better tune. Maybe eventually down the road, some more stuff, but I think I'll be happy with that.

Started with my 2002 WRX, which was great for day trips, but not so great for extended trips with 5 people. So, I recently found a 1998 Forester in near perfect condition for $2758.34. I need to replace the head gaskets (DOHC Phase I 2.5L) but other than that, it'll be ready for some overnighters very soon.

It takes us wherever we've pointed it, through snow, over rough roads, and down the highways..
It's handled rallies, fishing trips, and to work and back every day with a smile.

Did you paint the front bumper and sides like that? I don't recall Subaru colors like that? Looks good and gives me some ideas with Plastidip.

Spent the long weekend ramblin' around the eastern part of CA -- took the Forester up to 12,400 in the White Mountains. So surreal up there!
