variety is the nice of life.
1000%!!!They need to get back to regular rails, low profile would be better.
Correct, and to get them you need to buy the Touring! Which in my case was almost another $4k over my full loaded 2019 Limited 3.6 and added more gaudy fake chrome, single choice of interior and a heated steering wheel. The 2017+ Outback Touring 2.5i/3.6R(XT) have the low profile non-USDM roof rails.

Yeah, I’ve seen the touring rails, much better but, yeah - chrome. When they came out with the 3rd gen Outback I was hopeful they were gonna get sleeker and faster looking. Alas, the OB seems to get frumpier and frumpier. That roof rack definitely doesn’t help.Correct, and to get them you need to buy the Touring! Or you could install / have them install the JDM bars... or the Rhino Rack track RTS514 ......
Exactly, I shouldn’t have to work harder cuz subaru didn’t get it right.Installing JDM, Touring or Prinsu requires you dropping headliner. That is a major pain in the ass and a lot of work and time.

Might as well ask me to knit a roof rack, not gonna happen.apparently anyone can do it. even the wanna-be-professionals.
Cause wanna be professionals use silicone as a sealant.....even the wanna-be-professionals.
