The drivers seat is all the way forward and the passenger seat is all the way back.

about the seat base, I can take some pictures and measurements for you, I could build one but not right away.

Another score on Craigslist, I was going to make my own but for $25. each I couldn't pass it up.

The left side fits great.

The right side needed a little persuasion from the heat gun to fit around the filler neck.

Well as you know by now I'm always looking for a good deal and I found a great deal this time.

Spent some time with the heat gun and manipulate it the best I could.

Still need to fabricate a bracket for the windshield.

Had to do a little plastic welding to get the couture of the fender.

Hey Dratwagon!! Did you build that snorkel or is it a Safari. I found a great plenum from a junkyard for 10 dollars just need to finish it up. Your burb looks awesome. Great work

It's a good but cheaper Chinese version that I bought from a fellow member here, it was his last one soi got a killer price.

Sweet build, the Fj 80 snorkel is one of the few i was leaning towards to try and fabricate to work on my 89, I'm glad I now know its doable! could you post a picture of the underhood setup?

Was able to get out one of my favorite tools today.

these trucks may be called square bodies but I'm putting a curve on everything.

this main tube is more for protecting the roof from hazards.

so what do you think so far, give some ideas before I get more time off to work.
