I know I’m late to this party but wanted to get in anyways! I am going to be hardwiring a Dometic CFX as well and was curious as to why it doesn’t appear folks are using a relay? My plan is to use 10 gauge from the battery to a relay and then to the fridge. While using 18 gauge from the battery to my control switch to selectively power the circuit when needed. Just like all of the auxiliary lighting circuits use. I’ll run 10 gauge with a 10 amp fuse to the relay then on to the fridge, with a rocker or push button switch to pull the relay as needed.
