I know exactly how you feel. A few others and I, have been placing our copyright, right on the image. You can create a 'brush" in Photoshop, to make this much easier, and scalable.

Luckily, most of what we would post here, will not be of any commercial value in general, and certainly not in the sizes we use. But; I know there is always a chance for them to get pirated.
