We were treated to a beautiful, lingering glow at sundown today at Holland.
Both pictures are single exposure, with a 3 stop and 2 stop grad sandwich
Sharpened and resized
We're getting some fantastic sunshine here in W. Michigan. These were from yesterday. This one piece of driftwood was just crying out to be photographed with that pastel backdrop. Snow, again, this weekend...oh well
Similar techs to the last set: 3 + 2 grads, ISO 50 swith a longer exposure and slightly different composition in the second image. Resized and sharpened.
Caught this on the way home from work the other night. I almost missed it. I had to pull over to the side of the road, run down to the river and frantically look around for anything that would lend itself to a half decent composition before the light faded. Not the most ideal way to take a picture, but I was happy to have had my camera gear with me in the truck. There's nothing worse then missing a potential shot because you don't have a camera with you.
