New roof rack option. And further down, some pics of the rig of the owner that worked with STC on the idea as he needed kayak storage. Slick.
My understanding is the roof tracks cannot be retrofitted, but if anyone has info otherwise, please share.

Also, note that this owner retrofitted L track to hold the ladder lean brackets. The current STC solution, as shown in the video, has fixed ladder bracket locations.

I can actually confirm that the roof tracks can absolutely not be added. I asked about it during my conversation with Kelsey when I was setting up all my upgrades. I wasn’t necessarily going to do it but wanted to know about feasibility down the line. Of course if you have the $$$ you could always have them do a whole new roof….

Thanks @SimplyAnAdventure. Then it was you that had checked on it and mentioned it before. Thanks for the confirmation.

I suppose one could through-bolt if you absolutely wanted some type of roof rack, could seal it properly, and didn't mind the bolt/nuts in the living space. Or run VHB tape and/or sealant down the entire length of each track. But nothing like a clean and sound manufacturer's solution. Since not retrofittable, I presume STC is now inlaying material, to bolt to, internally during the molding process like they do for all the internal and external L tracks mounts, etc.
